I’m here to talk about our beloved playlists! YEY!

At first glance, yes, they’re just playlists made up of YouTube videos, but I’m here to tell you about our dedication to turning a simple list of music videos into an experience. And that, my dear, takes a lot of love – it’s our dedication to you, our loyal followers!❤️

Putting several videos on a playlist is super easy – we know that – so we came up with the idea of not just watching all the videos, choosing the best ones (preferably the official ones), and arranging them in a sequence that’s a pleasure to watch and listen to. But we also created a “fake” radio station to convey the emotion of these songs in a more fun – and why not, nostalgic – way!

I’ve listened to a lot of radio my whole life; these days, I have to admit, not so much, unfortunately, but I have vivid memories of hearing jingles and spots on the radio and always thinking: Wow, what a job it must be to create a the whole show – it’s a huge production!

And then there’s the voice-over work – from finding themes, creating and editing the scripts, to choosing the right voice and tone to convey a message that, back in the ’80s, listeners didn’t record or save like they do today to listen to later at their leisure…Back then, what’s done is done, and that’s that 😂.

Our videos, jingles, and promos are so inspired by this whole art!

Just to give you a little insight into the process behind each of our videos:

We create the videos from scratch, with graphics designed in Adobe Illustrator; videos we film ourselves or clips from the internet are edited in Adobe Premiere Pro; voiceovers are recorded using professional microphones and processed in Logic Pro; and the soundtracks are composed by us, using real instruments, recorded, and mixed in Logic Pro as well.

It’s real work, and it also brings us a lot of joy – even more so when we can share it with you! ❤️
