There’s a lot to say about Bowie, but I don’t have much space here… so instead of trying to do the impossible and cram every bit of information into a single post, I’ll be posting more and more about this amazing artist—one of my favorites—over time.
I think I can start with courage. Some might call him crazy, delusional, out of his mind, or sick, whatever, but Bowie was, above all, courageous. If even today there are no people in the entertainment industry capable of surprising us with such a combination of creativity, talent, and genius… imagine being David Robert Jones, a young Londoner in his early twenties back in the 1960s… this guy just perfectly managed to get noticed.

He faced a lot of discrimination and worked really hard to make a name for himself, but he did it – he didn’t give up! And it’s that passion I see in his songs – even if they’re from different eras – a depth of feeling carried by unusual melodies. It’s as if with every verse we’re transported to a new story that our own imagination builds through the creative impulse of Bowie’s songs.
You can call me overdramatic, and yeah, I am, hahaha, but I guarantee that even his non-fans might not like his work, but they’ll admit he was a genius.

“I don’t know where I’m going from here, but I promise it won’t be boring.”
― David Bowie
Whether the wild fantasy of his music, costumes, characters, and everything else enchants you or scares you. Either way, I’m sure seeing this artist perform definitely stirs something in your mind.
I even think that evoking that feeling was one of his goals… maybe he got his own boost from it when he looked in the mirror, all dressed up and ready for his next public appearance.
How can you break through this confidence and attitude?

Given the wide range of topics associated with him, I’ve decided not to follow a chronological order in my posts about Bowie…so, I’ll just wrap up this first one, sharing this cool video from “Rebel Rebel” Live in Dublin 2003.
see u soon 😉
